Is the 2024 KIA EV9 Worth $20,000 More Than Its Gas Equivalent? *Hyundai Santa Fe*
👋 Today I check out the 2024 KIA EV9 alongside the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe. Looking at these two similar 3 row SUV's the all electric EV9 will cost a solid $20,000 over the gas powered Santa Fe. So are the electric cars worth this price premium. Spending $20k in gas will probably take you a good decade or two, which would never end up saving you any money since the car would get replaced at least every decade. But is it worth spending more on the electric version over gas? Overall I don't think the electric cars are worth buying offer gas if your perspective is to save money on gas. There just isn't any saving. However the electric car does offer an ultra smooth acceleration and very quite ride. I do like how easy you can zip up to speed in an electric car. These vehicles in general, the EV9 rides much smoother and feels more high end and certainly drives like a full luxury SUV. So there are some nice qualities the EV9 has over the new Santa Fe. So I think it really comes down to how you like you car to ride and drive, and what your budget is. The Santa Fe Limited offers a ton for $45k and is a very attainable car for most families. The EV9 will be a lot more money to get into and even a basic one costs more the the Calligraphy Santa Fe. So really depends on what you want.
