President of Botswana Visits WIPO
WIPO Director General Tang met with Dr. Mokgweetsi Masisi, President of Botswana, during an official visit of a Botswanan delegation to the WIPO Headquarters in Geneva.
Director General Tang and President Masisi discussed synergies between Botswana’s “Vision 2036” and WIPO’s work to bring intellectual property (IP) to all, and agreed to explore new ways of working together to further strengthen Botswana’s IP ecosystem.
The visit took place on May 3, 2023.
